Applique "F" Foot for Janome elna & Kenmore Sewing Machines This presser foot is shorter than most for easier maneuvering around curves and corners when sewing applique pieces. Made of clear plastic for easier viewing as you sew. This foot fits all Janome machines with a horizontal (drop-in bobbin) rotary hook system that use the Janome shank. This foot will also fit Kenmore and Elna machines produced from 1994 that came with the Janome shank. This foot will only work with the Janome shank with the red (maybe black) button in the back. Below is a picture of the shank it will work with. This applique foot looks like it has two places to attach the shank to the foot (2 bars), but the back bar goes into the grooved out place on the back of the shank below the release button and then while holding the back bar in the grooved out place attach the front bar of the foot to the shank, this angles the foot so only the front of the foot rides on the fabric, allowing you to be able to turn and maneuver the foot easier.
