This adaptor will turn your Janome, Elna Kenmore high shank embroidery machine into a low shank sewing machine and adjust the left to right and front to back needle position so that you can use low shank feet in the center needle position on a Janome high shank machine.
When Janome came out with 7mm machines, they keep the left needle position the same and added the 2mm to the right, this changed the center needle position.
That is why normal low shank feet do not fit right on Janome machines. This adaptor will change the machine from a high shank to a low shank and adjust the bar to make it so the foot lines up right with the Janome center needle position.
