Use with the right or left guide for channel quilting and topstitching.   1. Take standard ankle and presser foot off the machine. 2. Place open toe dual feed foot on the presser bar with the fork of the foot over the needle clamp screw. Screw in place with the accessory thumb screw. 3. Feed teeth up. Presser foot pressure set at 2.5. 4. Select straight stitch for quilting and topstitching. Many decorative stitches sew well with the open toe dual feed foot including the hand look quilting stitch. Experiment on scraps with specialty stitches and threads before sewing your project. Dual feed foot right and left guides: Slide the guide onto the dual feed foot to guide parallel rows of stitching side by side as in channel quilting or tucking. 1. Mark and stitch the first row of stitching. 2. Slide right or left guide into slot on top of open toe dual feed foot. Use right guide when the first stitched row is on the right of the needle, left guide when the row is on the left. 3. Stitch the next row with the guide moving along the first row of stitching. 4. Continue stitching rows with the guide moving along the previous stitching row.   Foot comes with a guide for precise top stitching.
