Chinese Antique Red Painted Cabinet  circa 1880   Item No. Size(W*D*H,Inch) Material Origin Age GA703 42.00×22.50×72.25 Elm Shanxi 120 Years Featured is a beautiful cabinet with painted (fabric on wood) figures and landscapes. The Cabinet has a very nice patina and round hardware.There are two internal shelves that divide its interior into three compartments. The  point of interest is that there was used an old paining method called pihui, meaning that fabric was attached to the surface of the furniture and then paint and decorate the item.
