  • The program also works on all levels. Essentially items that would normally be disgarded by big business can be dismantled such that others can achieve a low cost alternative piece without investing fully in a new unit.
  • All employees, management and CUSTOMERS participate in the recycling program.

MY GOALS FOR EVERY TRANSACTION:

Hello, and I want to thank you truly for viewing my "ebay manifesto". I have been selling on ebay for years and have come to realize that there are no true standards amongst buyers and sellers. This can lend itself to hard feelings amongst ebayers. I have written this as a pledge to my customers for what they can expect out of me. I also will write goals that I expect out of my buyers. After all, we do not have to do business with each other. I am very aware that the vast majority of my items can be purchased by just continuing to search ebay. Actually, you will probably find them cheaper!!! Yes, I am nothing but honest - just check my feedback...

  • Description - It is my goal to provide 8x8 pictures of every item in the ad. Some ads will have more pictures then others. Also, due to the tremendous inventory I have accumulated I have had to scale way back on my item descriptions. Because the vast majority of my items are components that I have no knowledge of I rely on you the ebayer to ask me questions. I will usually answer by posting more relevant photos of the item if possible. But, I will answer even if I sound like an idiot doing so... 99% of my items come with a 7 day warranty which allows you the freedom to evaluate the items hands on. Obviously, if the item comes "as-is no warranty" then you are on your own! Please satisfy yourself BEFORE purchasing any item that its up to your standards. If you are 99% sure DO NOT BUY the item until your 100%... I think you'll find me a genuinely nice seller but I also expect my buyers to do there homework on the item. DO NOT assume anything comes with the item other then was is photo'd!!!!
  • Communication - I usually respond to every inquiry within 24 hrs. Obviously, you may not like what I say but I will respond. If your question falls on a weekend or 20 minutes before an auction closes you will probably not hear from me. That is until the following Monday. If you add your phone number I will honestly try to call you back. I will let you know that on any given day I have between 20 - 50 emails a day. Its daunting but I will do my best!!! I can tell you this for sure - I do not work on the Lord's day (Sunday)... Also, you will get emailed tracking from USPS.com or FED-EX or in the case of freight I will get you that information when they fax it to me. Usually the day after it ships... Please note that tracking numbers on USPS.com are still hit or miss on accuracy. Many of my customers recieve there items long before the website even shows it in there possesion.
  • Shipping Time - I work hard on this folks!!! I ship items under 20 lbs. within 48 hours. Items between 20 lbs. - 150 lbs. I ship within 2-3 days. Items over 150 lbs. (freight) can take up to five business days to arrange palletizing and coordinate with the freight companies. Remember, I use a service like priceline but for freight (it takes awhile)... All of this begins after you have paid for your item!!!
  • I can rush shipping in most cases - BUT it will cost you extra money.
  • Shipping & Handling - 95% of my items are FREE SHIPPING. But, the items that go freight you the customer will have to pay shipping. I recommend in these cases you email me ahead of time and I will work out a quote for you long before you ever buy the item.
  • I am SERIOUS about satisfying each and every customer. I have sold items on ebay ranging from $1 - $10,000 and every transaction is equally important. I do make mistakes and I am man enough to admit that! However, I am always willing to work hard at correcting every issue.

WHAT I EXPECT FROM MY CUSTOMERS:

  • I am always professionally courteous and EXPECT that in return!
  • I want you to ask all questions before purchasing the item - Assume NOTHING!!
  • I expect to be paid!!! HOWEVER, if you made a true mistake with your bid or the item is completely wrong for your application I understand. We can agree to not complete the transaction but I do request that you follow through on the Final Value Fee email from ebay. Those of you who do not know it simply allows me to get my ebay fee back on transactions that do not complete.
  • I expect if there is a problem you will email me BEFORE leaving a negative and bruising my DSR's. I promise I will work with you diligently to satisfy you. A NEGATIVE feedback solves nothing!!! I work 80% on the solution and 20% on the problem!!! If you observe my feedback you will see I really do want 100% Positive feedback...
  • I have met many ebayers in my time and I got to be honest with you 99% of the buyers are great people. I have really been blown away by how great y'all are... BUT, if you are a member of the 1% club. The ebayer who expects his USED item to be NEW. When there is a problem he goes straight to NEGATIVE. Threatens lawsuits, bodily harm, or negatives - please shop elsewhere. I know that you people exist on ebay but you are a minute few. Anyway, please just buy somebody else's item. We will both be better off...

MY HISTORY:

  • This all started for me more then 5 years ago. I have a masters degree in Information Technology and my friend had some government surplus that he wanted to sell on ebay. Considering he couldn't even tell me what the equipment was used for I honestly felt that showing him how to use ebay was the least of his problems. Anyway, after it all sold in 24 hrs. I was hooked.
  • My ebay inventory began with 50 items. It has now mushroomed to well over 5000 items and everyday getting larger and larger... I am still just one guy but my tasks have grown astronomically. But, my customers are ever changing.
  • I have learned one thing after all my time on ebay. Everybody has a different view on how the transaction should unfold. My intention with this "manifesto" is tell you what I will do for you! I will also explain what I will do for you!
