In VERY FINE CONDITION--tiny fleabite-size chips on lid (that may be where glaze popped during firing; hard to tell); no cracks or repairs.
6.5" High x 6" Wide
This piece, along with others we are currently listing, came directly from a
collector who purchased this jar in China when they traveled with the first group
of Western visitors allowed into the country, when Deng Xiaping (leader of the
People’s Republic of China at that time) started to develop China’s tourist industry in the late 1970’s. We are not experts on Chinese porcelain and have shared with you what we know about this stunning piece.
