This is a rare find. The box has hand painting on each side of birds, flowers and an ocean setting.
It also has a twisted wire edging on the top and bottom.
The lid is also painted with a landscape scene and a pagoda.
The storage box measures 17 inches tall and 12 inches wide.
It does have some splits in the wood due to the age.
The wood is unknown and there is some chinese writing on the inside of the piece.
For anyone you know that likes oriental peices, this is a one of a kind. Nice accent piece for any living room.
