In this auction we offer you a Vintage Porcelain Chinese Figures & Writing Table/Desk Lamp. The lamp measures 21" from the wooden base to overall 34". Upon further examination I have found the sticker dated 1982. The shade Looks brand new silk shade in an off white color. If you do want the lamp shade I will ask only an additional $15.00 to cover the new seperate carton and shipping in the USA. The Lamp is free from any chips, cracks or hairlines. This was a gift from my ex daughter in law and has been in the closet never being used.

I do split the costs with the buyers. Jeff    I have lot of people asking about what's not perfect or is there something wrong with the piece. If its posted a perfect piece that means it was never used or looks like it just came from the store today. Not perfect means may have a small imperfection or a small defect that came from the factory that way but the piece may still have never been used. Great shape means it was a used piece that shows some wear. If the piece has something wrong with it I will post the PIC to show what it is as best I can. Hope this helps.
These items are used and due to the age in most cases vintage stuff. We try to describe as best we can. Most items I have collected come from estate sales, garage and yard sales over the years. I do not know history of any items. I do simple tests to see if an item works. If I find something is non-working or broken, I will list as such. After something leaves my hands, we have no control over it , items for refund Must arrive as sent, well packaged, if damaged, God forbid, as some of my items are one of a kind to items must have a claim filed which I will do to receive carriers claim check. not any sooner. We do not sell "junk" stuff as new. We do sell broken items as for parts or repair as someone may need these and get a great deal. Most item being used and vintage have scuffs or scratches. Any major exterior damage will be noted. I pack all items as if I would want them sent to me.

Offers or counter offers or buy it now can be done at any time of the listing I have my items up for buy it now price + shipping, shipping goes buy the weight and size of carton that cannot be changed for obvious reasons. I also have make an offer on Just the item. When a buyer makes an offer I have the right to either accept the buyers offer or counter offer the buyers 1st offer. If the buyer accepts my counter offer then the item is sold. Again the shipping charges apply by the method mentioned above. I am still new to this mode of selling, as the high cost of listing and final value fees are almost pricing me out of selling on ebay. I do not know that once the item listing time has ended whether any offers or counter offers are valid. Again I am just trying out this avenue to cut costs and also be able to pass on the savings to my buyers as If my expenses are less then I can afford to lower my prices.I hope this helps. Just a quick note about Ebay's "DSR system (Detailed Seller Ratings)". This "1 to 5 star" rating system for Ebay is UNLIKE any other conventional use of the 5 star system you'll ever see. In the most common uses of that system, 3 or 4 stars applied to anything is usually pretty darned good. With Ebay! ANYTHING UNDER A 4.9 is a "demerit" to the credit of the seller! YES, it's hard to believe I know. They give the sellers incentives for maintaining a 4.9 to 5.0 rating and that is taken away with anything less that an average of 4.9 to 5. In fact, anything at all under a 4.7 is an F in their use of the system in regards to us. Indeed, if I reviewed any movie or song and said "Hey, it's a 4.7 out of 5!", you'd most likely think it was great entertainment. But with Ebay's system design, it failed! Also, note that in their system, you cannot leave the seller any fraction of a number. IT's a strict 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. A "4" that might be considered pretty good in the buyers eyes, is a flunking grade to Ebay's seller incentive program! SO PLEASE PLEASE LEAVE ME 5 STARS. IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES AT ALL, I WILL MOST SURELY TAKE CARE OF IT FOR YOU! I will also leave prompt glowing feedback for you right after. Returned items MUST be packaged as you received it for safe arrival. Any damaged items from FEDEX neglet, a claim will be filed by the seller to the shipper, once I receive notice of such. USPS you can file a claim at your local Post office with the necessary paperwork. I will e-mail what you would need. with either carrier DO NOT discard the shipping carton!
