This listing is for an Antique unusual Heavy Weight Cast Iron Can/Bottle opener. This Can opener/Bottle opener dates to the mid 1800s or very early 1900s. This Tin Can or bottle opener is in the shape of a cow or bull with a beautiful wooden (Walnut) handle. There is a punch on top of the head and a cutting blade on the bottom. There is also a gripper on the chin as pictured. Please view all photos carefully.
This can/bottle opener measures 6 1/2" in length and weighs 12 - 16 ounces. Pretty heavy duty for a hand held opener. There are no chips to the blade or any notable damage other than normal 100 year old age related wear. This opener is in excellent condition for its age.
This is sure to make a nice addition to any kitchen primitive collection.
