I am happy to present this lovely Staffordshire ABC Red Transferware plate.  This transferware scene depicts a rider on horse with hounds running beside.  They are jumping a hedge where two farmers are trying to wave them off.  This lovely piece of Staffordshire has the raised ABC's around the outer edge.  There are the usual knife marks on the eating are of the plate and signs of age on the ABC's.  The stamp on the back is very clear "STAFFORDSHIRE  ENGLAND".

This plate is 6 3/4 inches in diameter and is Ca. 1840-1842.
