SELF-Heating
To use as a hot bottle when contents are liquid and the bottle is cold, unscrew and remove stopper: rub lower end of stopper rod with thumb and finger to produce a dry spot that crystallizes. replace stopper, screwing it down only one or two thrads shake bottle. it will heat up immediately.
Prepration: To prepare bottle for use when the contents are solid place in a pot of boiling water and boil for about fifteeen minutes, In doing this first remove stopper and rinse it throughly in the boiling water, using clip hook to hold with. wipe out neck of bottle, replace stopper bottle screwing on part way only suspened on hook provided for the purpose so boiling water covers about three fouths of bottle, but do not reach the stopper. never allow water in pot to boil, away after fifteen minutes boiling with lid on pot, screw stopper down tight-real tight Bottle may then be used in any of three ways. First -applied to paitent immediatelly. The heated liquid contents will keep bottle hot for a long time, after which it be self heated by sunscrewing stopper as described in first paragph.
