The table top slides over, and you can pull up the cup holder which locks into place and you have a work station and to entertain. When you are finish entertaining, you just slide the top over and it is now a coffee table. Really nice. I did have a white one about five years ago, they are RARE and hard to find in good condition. The sides have a pebble like design, take a look at the photo's. There is a tag that says Grand Server, MGD By AM Stock. It is 59 1/2" open to end, 22 1/2" wide, 46 1/4" to the curve, 22 1/2" tall, it has two shelfs, and it rolls around on casters. In really good condition for the age.
