This is a great jacket in army fatigue green, rip stop nylon and the embellishments make this Spy Exchange, a jacket that will definately get you noticed. (Good noticed) It is 24" Long, 17" from armpit to armpit with a 23" Long cuffed sleeve. It is missing 2 buttons of the 4 total 3/4" solid army green buttons, but I wouldn't button it anyway. There are 2 additional unused buttons on the sleeves and also a hidden spare button at the collar. So, if someone who knows where a needle and thread are, this is a minor problem for them. On the other hand, for me, I would never have the patience to take the buttons off here and put them there.
In the front, there are 2 patch pockets with orange thread, studs and crystals but they are just faux pockets. There is an internal band along the waist where you can pull the ties to make it flare out more or to have it tighter. Below that, there are 2 more pockets, which are real and OH, 2 more buttons, these pockets have flaps with crystals, suede and orange stitching. The back is amazing with a bloom of embellishments which include sequins, Metallic thread, crinoline, all cut and designed to mimic stylized flowers. To add to the military theme, the jacket has epilets on the shoulders and a zig zag design stitched randomly around the piece. It is in the same army green color so you can't tell unless you are up close and personal.
When I see a piece of clothing, I always look at what warrants a price. This jacket has so many things that is didn't have to, but good design is just that, good design. The only thing wrong with this jacket is the Spy Exchange Tag is loose, and the 2 buttons, which are easily replaceable with buttons on the jacket. It is dry clean only, and the tag says 100% cotton, but it has that subtle check in the fabric which is so rip stop nylon. I only purchase things that I love, that I get on sale so I can pass the saving on to you. It was originally marked at 248.00, then 160.00 and I got it for less!!!!!!!
