You are bidding on a metal bank that depicts a fat pelican. It was manufactured by Banthrico, Inc. circa the 1950s for the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company of Newark, NJ. The circular base is 4-inches in diameter and the height is 6.25-inches. The coin slot is on the beak of the pelican. There is no key with this bank. See photos for more details. This bank is in mint condition and appears new except for some light wear to the paint around the edges of the base and some tiny black speckles on the front of the pelican (perhaps part of the design?). There are no cracks, dents, or missing pieces. A very nice bank! See my Store for more collectible banks.Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment.
