You are bidding on a metal coin bank manufactured by Banthrico, Inc. of Chicago. It was issued as a promotional bank for the Roosevelt Federal Savings and Loan Association of St. Louis. There is a lot of fine detail in the cast of the man. The base is 2.5-inches square. The height of the bank is 8.25-inches. It weighs just under two pounds. The coin slot is on the bottom and there is no key. This bank is in moderately worn condition. There is overall flaking of the paint throughout, mainly on the base, and a dent on the front of the base (may be due to casting given the paint is not damaged in this area). The statue is a bit lose such that you can rotate it atop the base and the base plate is also a bit loose. There are no cracks or chips in the metal. A nice heavy bank. See my Store for more old metal coin banks.Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $12.00 in USPS Parcel Post rate shipping and handling.
