You are bidding on a hardback copy of A Source Book of Problems for Geometry: Based Upon Industrial Design and Architectural Ornament by Mabel Sykes.  It was published in 1912 by Allyn and Bacon, and this is a First Edition copy.  The book measures 5.5 x 7.75-inches in size and contains 372 pages including an index.  The book contains 349 different geometrical exercises based on complex designs.  Each design has numerous questions asked about it, and answers are provided.  See photos for contents and sample problem.

This is an ex-library book that is still in good condition.  The covers have edge rubbing that includes fraying to the spine ends, a small slit to front spine edge, and exposure to the corners, but no bumps to cover corners.  The call number has been removed from the spine.  Interior library markings are restricted to the back of the front cover and the front of the adjacent blank page.  No library markings to the rest of the pages or in the rear of the book.  Slight damage to pages--several edge tears or small edge chips, a few pencil markings, a few corner creases, and a tear in the middle of page 181, but no loss of text.  No cracks to interior hinges.  Binding remains tight and square.
