You are bidding on a hardback copy of King of the Plains that contains twelves stories written by eight different authors. The book was published in 1910 by Harper & Brothers Publishers and it is a first edition copy. The book measures 5 x 7-inches in size and contains 188 pages including full-page illustrations. This book is in very good condition. It has clean covers with a bit of wear to the top of the spine, pin-hole-sized exposure to two corners (no corner bumps), and two other pin-hold-sized holes along the top edge of the rear cover. Former owner's name/location on front blank page, otherwise clean throughout with no markings or soiling. No damage to pages other than a bit of age-darkening. There is a 3-inch crack in the rear hinge only, but the binding still remains tight and square. A very nice copy, especially for its age!
