Up for purchase is a hardback copy of Sutter's Gold by Blaise Cendrars. First published in 1925 by Harper & Brothers, this is a Blue Ribbon Books undated reprint from around 1934. The book measures 5.5 x 8.5-inches in size and contains 179 pages with illustrations. A lively account of the California Gold Rush with a focus of its impact on Sutter. See photos for contents. This book is in very good condition. It has clean covers with dulling of the lettering on the spine. There is a small dent in the front cover but no bumps to the cover corners. Corners have been rubbed with a small bit of exposure and some fraying to the top of the spine. Inscription dated July, 1934 on half-title page, otherwise clean throughout with no other markings or soiling. No damage to pages, but they had age-darkened a bit. No cracks to interior hinges. Binding remains tight and square. A nice copy! Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Shipping and handling is $3.50 via USPS media rate mail. Books usually ship out within one day of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details.
