Up for purchase is a deluxe reprint of the classic The Story of an African Farm by Oliver Schriener. It was first published in 1883 and is still in print today. There have been many different editions of this book and this deluxe edition in a slipcase was first published in 1953 by Collins (Collins Clear Type Press) of London. This copy is a 1965 printing that also has a glassine cover over the book. The book measures 4.5 x 7.25-inches in size and contains 285 pages. This book is in mint condition and appears brand new showing no wear, damage, markings, or soiling. The binding remains tight and square. The slipcase case is in very good condition. It is clean with rubbing to the corners and a bit of price sticker residue in one corner. A choice copy of this London edition. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment.
