You are bidding on a beautiful hardback copy of Early American Sport by Robert W. Henderson. It was published in 1937 in a limited edition of 400 copies by The Grolier Club of New York City and printed by The Harbor Press. The book measures 6.25 x 9.25-inches in size and contains 134 pages including illustrations and an index. This is an extensive list of sports-related books published prior to 1860, mostly on hunting, fishing, dogs, and horses, but other sports as well such as boxing and gambling. Books are listed by year published, and index includes titles and authors.

This book is in mint condition and appears brand new. The only defect I can find is a barely visible bump (seen in photo if you look very closely) along the top edge of the front cover. Very clean throughout with no markings, soiling, or age spotting. No cracks to interior hinges. Binding remains tight and square. A choice copy that usually sells for $150+!!
