Up for purchase is an exhibition catalog entitled Italian Primitives: The Case History of a Collection and Its Conservation. It was published in 1972 to accompany an exhibition celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Yale's acquisition of the James Jackson Jarves collection. The exhibition ran from April-September 1972 at the Yale University Art Gallery. The catalog measures 8.5 x 11-inches in size and contains 56 pages. The exhibition consisted of 47 works of art that includes details regarding their restoration. See photos for more details. This catalog is in very good condition. The covers are clean except for a blue-green marker streak across the bottom page edges that left a small dot along the bottom edge (seen in the main photo). The top and bottom corners have been lightly bumped such that there is a small light corner crease to the pages. Former owner's bookplate on the back of the front cover. There are also some light waves in the front cover and several adjacent pages around the area of the bookplate due to it have been wet when applied, but left no water staining. Clean interior with no markings or soiling. Binding remains tight and square. A nice copy! Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $3.50 in USPS media rate mail. Books usually ship out within one day of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping and handling is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's custom office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. On Nov-26-10 at 17:49:46 PST, seller added the following information:
