You are bidding on a special auction catalogue issued by Sotheby's for Lot 21 in Sale #8021 that was held in NYC on May 10, 2006. This lot was for a 68 x 80-inches painting by Roy Lichtenstein entitled "Sinking Sun." This auction contained 66 lots for which a catalogue was issued. In addition, Sotheby's also published this special catalog solely for the Lichtenstein painting. The catalogue measures 10.5 x 9-inches in size and contains 32 pages, which includes detailed information concerning Lichtenstein. This catalogue indicates the painting was first acquired by Dennis Hopper of Los Angeles in 1964. It sold at this auction for $15,696,000.

This catalog is in mint condition and appears brand new except for a 1/4-inch long very light corner crease to the top corners resulting from a bump to that corner. Clean throughout with no markings or soiling. Binding remains tight and square. A choice copy!
