You are bidding on a hardback copy of Design For Angling: The Dry Fly on Western Trout Streams by Alexander MacDonald. It was published in 1947 by the Houghton Mifflin Company and this is a First Edition copy. The book measures 6 x 9-inches in size and contains 145 pages that includes photo illustrations. See photos for contents. (Note: The rings on the front cover photo are a result of light reflection and do not appear on the book.) This is an ex-library book in good condition. The covers have a call number on the spine, a few light coffee (?) spots on the front cover, and exposure to two corners (but no bumps). There is a card pocket and date due slip in the front of the book along with a withdrawn stamp. The only other library markings are on the back of the title page and bottom of the last page. The second blank page has vertical creases along the fore-edge. Damage to pages includes four small bottom corner chips and a small fore-edge chip to page 129, with no loss of text anywhere. The front flap of the dust jacket is pasted to the back of the rear cover. No cracks to the interior hinges. Binding remains tight and square. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Shipping and handling is $3.50 via USPS media rate mail. Books usually ship out within one day of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's custom office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. On Feb-27-11 at 20:06:56 PST, seller added the following information:
