Up for purchase is a hardback copy of The Beth El Story with a history of the Jews in Michigan before 1850 by Irving I. Katz and Three Hundred Years in America by Dr. Jacob R. Marcus. The book is signed by Katz on the page adjacent to the title page. It was published in 1955 by Wayne State University, and it is a First Edition copy. The book measures 7 x 10.25-inches in size and contains 238 pages including an index of names. See photos for more details. This book is in very good condition. It has clean covers that appear new except for a bump to the bottom corners. Former owner's bookplate on back of front cover otherwise clean throughout with no other markings or soiling.
