Up for purchase is a hardback copy of The Passing of Louis XIV 1714-1717, Vol. V by Francis Arkwright. It was published by Brentano's with no date indicated, but appears to be from around 1910-1915 as Arkwright published another such book in 1910. The book measures 5.75 x 9-inches in size and contains 522 pages. See photos for a sample of extensive contents.

This book is in good condition. It has clean covers with light edge rubbing, barely visible bumps to the top corners (no exposure to corners), a small bump along the front bottom edges, and a 1/2-inch thin chip along the front cover fore-edge. The interior is mint condition except for some small cracks in the interior hinges. Clean throughout with no markings or soiling. No damage to pages. Binding remains tight and square. A nice copy!
