You are bidding on a pair of art deco horse antique bookends that were manufactured by Champion Products circa 1930. They are made of gray metal with a copper-colored finish and the artist is Philip di Napoli, whose name appears along the bottom rear edge. The base measures 5 x 3.75-inches in size and the height is 8-inches. There is a green felt pad on the bottoms. One bookend weighs 52.3 ounces and the other one weighs 52.9 ounces. These antique bookends are in very good condition. There are no dents or broken parts on the bookends. On one bookend there is a pin-head sized hole on the lower left leg that is a casting error and on the other bookend there is a long hairline crack on the lower right leg that also appears to have been a casting error because the surface paint enters it. Otherwise, there are a few tiny surface scratches and a tiny bit of flaking to the paint. A very nice set!
