Up for purchase is a set of solid cast iron bookends depicting a bossy-posed man with a cigar in his mouth, leaning against a rail fence. It was manufactured circa 1925 with no manufacturer's mark other than an "N 510" stamped on the rear side. The base measures 5.5 x 3.25-inches (at the widest points) in size and it stands 5.5-inches high. One bookend weighs 50.9 ounces and the other one weighs 51.8 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in excellent condition. I can find no damage or wear on them. There are some coffee stains to the bottom felt pads. An exceptionally nice set!
