Up for purchase is a pair of solid aluminum bookends depicting the head of a duck designed by Bruce Fox. They were manufactured during the 1950's and Fox's signature is stamped into each base (double over stamped on one base) . Each base measures 4.5 x 3-inches, and the bookend is just over 5-inches in height. Both the rear side and bottom have a continuous felt cover. Each bookend weighs 24.1 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in virtually mint condition. There is some moth wear to the felt on the bottoms. The metal surface show no wear except for a pin-point-sized ding along the lower edge of the bill on one duck (seen as a tiny speck in below photo). An absolutely beautiful set! See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling.
