Up for purchase is a set of solid cast iron bookends that depict a buccaneer. They were manufactured circa 1930 by the Connecticut Foundry with their manufacturer's mark on the rear along with a "!" on the back of the head. The base measures 4.75 x 2-inches in size, and it stands 7-inches high. One bookends weighs 28.9 ounces and the other one 29.2 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in excellent condition. The only damage I can find is a pin-point-sized dent in the top edge of one base (barely seen in first photo below) and a bit of rubbing to the base edges. An exceptionally nice set! See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling. Bookends usually ship out within three days of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's custom office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. On Nov-18-10 at 19:03:49 PST, seller added the following information:
