See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!Up for purchase is a set of bronze clad bookends that depict a small girl putting her hands over a small boy's eyes. It was manufactured circa 1925 by Galvano Bronze. The base measures 3.5 x 3.25-inches (at the widest points) in size and stands just over 7-inches in height. One bookend weighs 37 ounces and the other once weighs 36.2 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in near mint condition. I find no cracks, chips, or dings in the metal surfaces which is highly unusual for bookends of this age. The only wear is a small bit of rubbing to some of the highlights of the painted surfaces. This is an exceptionally nice set! Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Shipping and handling is $15.00 via USPS Priority mail. Books usually ship out within one day of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details.
