Up for purchase is a set of cast iron bookends that depict a covered wagon being towed by horses. They were manufactured circa 1930 by the Connecticut Foundry with their manufacture's mark on the rear along with a the number 922. The base measures (at the widest points) 6.25 x 1.75-inches in size, and it stands 5.25-inches high. One bookend weighs 29.9 ounces and the other one weighs 29.4 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in mint condition and appear brand new except for two barely visible tiny dents along the front edge of one bookend. An exceptionally nice set!
