You are bidding on a set of cast iron antique bookends that depict Dante Alighieri. They were produced around 1930 and contain the manufacturer's mark of the Connecticut Foundry on the rear side (seen in photos). In addition one bookend has a 2 stamped near the head on the rear and the other one has an 8 stamped on it. The base measures 5.25 x 1.75-inches in size and the height is 5.75-inches. One bookend weighs 31.5 ounces and the other one weighs 32.4 ounces. These antique bookends are in excellent condition. They have no missing parts, cracks, or dents. The only damage I find is a bit of rubbing to the paint along the edges of the bases. A very nice set! See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling. Bookends usually ship out within three days of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.
