Up for purchase is a polychrome gray metal set of bookends that depict an elephant under a pagoda. It was manufactured by the K&O (Kronheim and Oldenbucsh) Metal Novelties Company circa 1925. The manufacturer's mark is on the rear base (seen in photos). The base measures, at the widest points, 5 x 3.5-inches in size, and it stands 6-inches high. One bookend weighs 46.0 ounces and the other one weighs 45.8 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in near mint condition. The only damage is a small chip to one of the pagoda side tips (seen on the far right in the main photo and close up below). There is also a scant bit of rubbing to the paint, mainly along the base (seen below). Overall, a very nice set. See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling. Bookends usually ship out within three days of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details.
