Up for purchase is a set of gray metal bookends that depict a girl drawing water from a lion head fountain. It was manufactured by X-1 circa 1925 and has a "503" on the rear of the base. The base measures 3.5 x 2-inches in size, and it stands 5-inches high. One bookend weighs 40.9 ounces and the other one weighs 41.6 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in good condition. There are no cracks or chips in the metal. One bookend has a small dent to the girl's and the lion's nose along with multiple small dents to the stump upon which the girl's right leg is resting, to the girl's limbs, and to the top of the base.
