Up for purchase is a set of marble base/ends bookends that has a butting goat. They were manufactured circa the 1940's with no manufacturer's mark, but there is a "15" etched on the bottom of the marble base that is missing the felt. The base measures just under 6 x 3-inches in size, and the back marble piece stands 5.5-inches high. One bookend weighs 40.8 ounces and the other one weighs 39.7 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in excellent condition. The goats show no cracks, holes, dents, loss of paint or other damage to the metal surfaces. There is a very small chip to the top rear corner of one of the upright marble backs (barely seen in second photo below on far right) and a barely visible ding to a couple of other base corners. A very nice set! See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling. Bookends usually ship out within three days of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.
