Up for purchase is a set of painted heavy cast iron bookends on which the word "Study" appears on one and "Science" appears on the other bookend.  They were manufactured circa 1925 by Bradley & Hubbard, considered by many to be the premier bookend manufacturer.  Their H&B mark appears on the rear side of each bookend.  The base measures 5 x 3-inches in size and stands 5.75-inches in height.  One bookend weighs 64 ounces and the other one weighs 62.6 ounces.  See photos for details.

These bookend are in very good condition.  The front sides show no damage whatsoever.  No flaking to the paint.  The rear side of one bookend has a scuff mark (seen in photos).  The felt pads are worn on the bottoms and all but two of the corner rubber inserts are missing.  A very nice set.  

Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Shipping and handling is $15.00 via USPS Priority mail.  Books usually ship out within one day of receipt of payment.
