Up for purchase is a set of bronze clad bookends depicting the Liberty Bell. They were manufactured circa 1950s with no manufacturer's mark on them, but they are very similar to Marion Bronze bookends. The base measures 4.75 x 3.25-inches (at the widest points) in size, and stands 6 5/8-inches high. One bookend weighs 44.5 ounces and the other one weighs 48.2 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in very good condition. There are no cracks or serious dents in the metal surfaces. One bookend has three very small (casting?) holes--one on the top edge of the Liberty Bell (seen in main photo on right), one on the side near the bottom edge (seen in first photo below on right), and one near the front top corner (barely visible in main photo). The other bookend has a small hole atop one of the two iron bars holding the bell. There are also some green corrosion spots on the bookends that need to be cleaned off. A very nice set with barely visible defects. See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling. Bookends usually ship out within three days of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's custom office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. On Oct-31-10 at 18:47:05 PDT, seller added the following information:
