You are bidding on a set of cast iron antique bookends that depict a bust of Longfellow. They were manufactured circa 1925 by Bradley and Hubbard, well-known for their fine castings. The manufacturer's mark appears on the rear side and there is a felt pad on the bottom. The base measures 2.5 x 5-inches in size and the height is 6.25-inches. One bookend weighs 52.2 ounces and the other one weighs 52 ounces (precision casting!) These bookends are in excellent condition. There is no damage or wear to the metal.
