You are bidding on a set of cast iron antique bookends that depict a bust of Longfellow. They were manufactured circa 1925 by Bradley and Hubbard, well-known for their fine castings. The manufacturer's mark appears on the rear side and there is a felt pad on the bottom. The base measures 2.5 x 5-inches in size and the height is 6.25-inches. One bookend weighs 52.2 ounces and the other one weighs 52 ounces (precision casting!)

These bookends are in excellent condition. There is no damage or wear to the metal. The only damage to the paint is a tiny bit of chipping along the top front edge. An exceptionally nice set of antique bookends!
