You are bidding on a rare set of bookends manufactured by Tallman Bronze of Canada. They were designed by W. B. Tallman, a relative of the founder, and so marked on the side. The bookends are slush mold gray metal with a bronze verdigris finish. They feature a duck sitting in the water and another one flying in the background. The base measures 3.75 x 3-inches in size and the height is 5 5/8-inches. One bookend weighs 2 lbs. 7 ounces and the other one weighs 2 lbs. 8 ounces. See photos for details.

This set is in near mint condition. The only damage to the surfaces is a scant bit of light rubbing of the paint. There is also a bit of edge wear on the green felt pads on the bottoms. A choice set!
