You are bidding on a rare set of N.C.R. School House solid bronze antique bookends from 1927. These bookends were given out by the National Cash Register company as awards to their sales team. In so doing, the recipient's name and award is engraved on the rear side. However, this set is ultra-rare in that there are no engravings on the rear. There are no markings on the bookends and there is a leather pad on the bases. The base measures 5 1/8-inches x 3 1/8-inches and the height is 4 3/4-inches. One bookend weighs 4 lbs. 5 ounces and the other one weighs 4 lbs. 6 ounces. See photos for details. These antique bookends are in near mint condition. I find no damage on the metal surfaces other than a couple of pin-head size corrosion spots on the steps of the buildings. There is also some edge wear to the leather bottom pads. An excellent set! See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling. Bookends usually ship out within three days of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's custom office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. On Nov-19-09 at 21:10:32 PST, seller added the following information:
