You are bidding on a set of antique bookends from circa 1925 that depict an owl in an archway. They are made of gray metal and marked "506" in the middle of the bottom edge on the rear side. However, these bookends are coded among collectors as be made by the X-1 manufacturer. The base measure 6.75 x 2.75-inches and the height is 4.75-inches. One bookend weighs 35.1 ounces and the other one weighs 38.7 ounces. See photos for more details. These antique bookends are in very good condition and show a lot of detail. They are complete with no parts broken off. There are a couple of thin cracks along the base on the front of one bookend, some rubbing of the paint especially along the edges, and a few tiny edge dings. Overall, a very nice set.
