You are bidding on a set of antique bookends depicting the Rock of Ages in Carlsbad Caverns, MN. They were produced circa 1940, possibly by the Dodge Company, and are made of gray metal with a copper painted surface. The base measures 4.5 x 3-inches in size and the height is 6-inches. There are no markings. One bookend weighs 41 ounces and the other one weighs 42.8 ounces. One base reads: "CARLSBAD NEW MEXICO" and the other base reads: "CARLSBAD CAVERS, N.M." These antique bookends are in mint condition except for a scant bit of paint loss and a bump to the tip of one bookend. A very nice set!
