You are bidding on a very rare set of gray metal bookends that depict a colt. They were manufactured circa 1940 by Champion Products of Los Angeles, CA, with their mark along the bottom front edge (seen in photos). The base measures 6 x 2.75-inches (at the widest points), and it stands 7.25-inches in height (to the tip of the ears). One bookend weighs 25.7 ounces and the other one weighs 27.4 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in very nice condition. There are no cracks or chips in the metal surfaces. There is a barely visible bump to the left ear on one of the horses that does not detract from the artistry of the bookend. There is a small bit of loss to the paint near the tip of one nose on the right side, otherwise the painted surfaces are in beautiful condition. Overall, an exceptionally nice set of quite rare bookends. See my Store for many more antique bookends in nice condition!. Buyer's have the right to request from me other forms of payment. Winning bidder to pay $15.00 in USPS Priority shipping and handling. Bookends usually ship out within three days of receipt of payment. Note to foreign buyers: The posted shipping is for U.S. only shipments. Foreign shipments at extra S&H--see payment details. Import duties, taxes and any other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's custom office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. On Jan-07-11 at 14:38:05 PST, seller added the following information:
