You are bidding on a rare set of bookends that depict a Victorian-era couple, perhaps Shakespeare actors. They are made of solid bronze and contain no markings. The base measures 7 x 2.5-inches in size and the height is 7.5-inches. There is brown felt on the bottom. One bookend weighs 4.25 lbs. and the other one weighs 4.67 lbs. See photos for details.

There bookends are in near mint condition. The metal surfaces show no damage. Damage is limited to the felt on the bottom, which has multiple small holes in it. An excellent set that is rarely seen!
