See my Store for many more antique bookends!Up for purchase is a beautiful set of polychrome gray metal bookends depicting an Indian Chief in a canoe. They were manufactured by Ronson circa 1930. The base measures 6 x 3-inches in size and the back stands 6.5-inches in height. One bookend weighs 45.9 ounces and the other one weighs 45.6 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in very nice condition. There are some tiny light surface scratches and several very tiny chips to the paint, mainly along the rear edge of the headdress. One bookend has a 3/4-inch scratch on one leg and a 1/2-inch long thin crack along the base near the paddle (seen in photos). Overall a very striking set of bookends.
