Here is a great deal on a 1973-'75 Gibson J-40 with a vintage case. Guitar has great tone and low action 4/32' at the 12th fret.Has new D'Addario strings and projects optimum tone and sustain.It does have the typical pickguard cracks on right side of soundhole but it does not affect it's playability in any way (see pics). Guitar has non original Kluson style tuners. Bridge is tight and secure but may have been re-glued ? sometime ago.No cracks on back or sides.Neck is straight.Binding in some spots is spongey but stable as often found on this era Gibson.Stampned 2 on back of headstock. Looks like this one has been very lightly used. Case is in fair condition. A great sounding and solid guitar !! Make offer !!

Keep in mind this is a used guitar and not in mint condition.Please ask question before bidding if you are unsure of anything.Unless it is proven I have grossly misrepresented this item, there is no returns on vintage guitars.If you are very anal and expect to go over this guitar with a fine tooth comb as they say then please do not buy this item. I had a buyer take apart a 1930's Gibson just to look inside it and then wanted money from me for repairs!! If item is returned for any reason a 20% restocking fee will be charged on the amount .

My guitars are ready to play(unless otherwise noted) and I normally add new strings and inspect them carefully for any issues.I sell high quality vintage instruments however they are not perfect/new so if you are expecting a perfect guitar that's what Guitar Center is for.Great care is taken when packing and boxing for shipping.
