First, you'll remove seven screws to open your PSP slim. Four screws on the back (for some of the screws, you'll have to take your battery out, and peel the lining/paper in the battery compartment), One screw on the bottom, and Two more on the top. 2.Now you take off your faceplate, use the flathead to pry off the left side of the button bar. Now do the same on the right. The screen is held by a few plastic clips, use the flathead to take the screen out gently. 3.Now that you have completed steps one and two, gently lift up the screen to get to all the cables and connect the screen to the motherboard. The thin cable on the left is the backlight cable. The thick cable next to it is the lcd data cable. The one on the right is the button bar cable. Lift up the clips with a screwdriver or your fingernail to release the cables. 4.Motherboard with the clips open and cables disconnected. Installation is the reverse of removal (aka: Backwards).
