This is a copy/replica of a 1870 $5 National Gold Bank Note The face of the note features Columbus sighting land on the left, and on the right Columbus presenting a Native American princess, symbolic of America to to allegorical represenatives of the Old World. The back has an array of contemporary United States gold coins.
