Strider No Pedal Balance bikes are designed for children from 12 months up to 60 months of age. They are also one of the biggest confidence builders that you will ever purchase for your child or grandchild. 

Strider Balance bikes enable children to begin learning and developing coordination and balance as soon they begin to walk. It's really quite amazing. In fact, I didn't believe in these bikes until my son received one when he was just 18 months old. Why are they pedals and brakes missing? That's usually the first question you get when out with these bikes. It's simple. Children have a natural ability to balance and steer - or it comes very quickly. Without having to worry about pedaling or braking, they can focus on what they can develop at such a young age. Also, without pedals means there's also no messy chains to get in the way either. 

Kids straddle the bike and simply walk with it and as they gain confidence they will start to run. Within a few weeks they start to pick up their feet and coast - and develop significant balance skills and coordination as well. In fact, many children are able to skip right over training wheels all together! (Again, read my story).
