Porcelain Doll in Victorian Attire by Bonita Chaisson

 

Here is a rare chance to obtain one of Bonita Chaisson's magnificent dolls. Without a doubt, this is the most impressive doll in our collection. Abigail measures approximately 16 tall (including hat and stand which is included) and was designed by Bonita Chaisson who sadly passed away in 2008. No detail was left undone during the crafting of this amazing porcelain masterpiece. Abigail is dressed in an elaborately detailed silk Victorian dress embellished with ecru lace, peach satin ribbons, and pearls. The details included on this doll is unparalleled and in our opinion, she is quite extraordinary.  Her flowing full head of blonde curly hair is adorned with a three peach ribbon bows. She also is wearing pearl earrings.  Her leather shoes are heavily embellished  lace and flowers with ribbon ties. She also wears cream colored stockings, pantaloons and an additional lace and cotton petticoat.  She is in excellent/new condition. She has been in storage for a majority of her life. She was displayed in a glass fronted cabinet for several months in the mid 1980's.

 

This doll was purchased for considerably more money than what I am asking for her.

 

·         Abigail is all porcelain made by Bonita Chaisson and is hand painted.

·         Abigail's entire body is made of porcelain and she has moveable arms and legs.
